Italia reports 4 indigenous Plasmodium falciparum malaria cases

Italian medical officials reported this week four Plasmodium falciparum malaria cases within the Apulia region in southern Italia. Based on the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the instances are 21 to 37-year-old men, initially from Africa. All mentioned that they experienced Italia in excess of three several weeks. Dates for start of signs and symptoms ranged from 20 to 27 September 2017. The instances are farming workers in Ginosa and Castellaneta.
